Welcome to Starlight Theatre's Fourth Season!  We hope you all enjoyed last season's variety.  This year, we're kicking off with "Opal's Baby", a comedy by John Patrick and directed by Linda Granger.

Opal is a wonderfully naive and wise lady living in her tumbledown home at the edge of the dump. She sits in her rocker and tells us about life. Opal Kronkie has seen many fine and not-so-fine characters in her time. She believes that “there ain’t such a thing as a bad human being – just a few models that need to be recalled.” In this story, Opal becomes the victim of a family of rural con-men who think she is easy prey. Did they ever pick the wrong victim! Needless to say the “plot thickens” hilariously but happily all ends well, at least for Opal, who emerges safe, sound and ready for whatever may come next.
